It has always been said that he who the cap fits, should wear it. This saying has become so true in our contemporary society where experience is revered and considered a key factor in electing and recommending people for elective positions.
On this premise, Sir Chuku Wachuku, a Knight of Saint Christopher of the Anglican Communion, an economist, technocrat, entrepreneur, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, becomes the answer to different encumbrances confronting Abia Central Senatorial District.
As societies are changing with it’s attendant complexities, there is every need to dip into the archives, down memory lane, unearth people with outstanding credentials and achievements in both the private and public sectors.
The Nigerian society needs people who have distinguished themselves in their vocations so as to bring their experiences to bear in re-writing the wrongs and bad precedence set by people who do not understand the nitty gritty of representation and legislation.
Without mincing words, what Abia Central Senatorial District needs at this critical time is someone who is driven by the passion to serve the people as well as make them critical stakeholders in the decision making process and not a man imposed on the people, hence, not a dummy, docile that is ready to accept negotiations without considering the general interest of his constituents.
It is not a contentious issue that politics in this clime should be above stomach infrastructure, the era of giving people fish to eat is over. The masses are yearning for new approach to their myriad challenges. How long shall we continue giving the masses fish? Truth is that the masses deserve to be shown how to catch their own fish so that over reliance on representatives with no clear cut agenda would cease.
Abia Central Senatorial District, needs a man who has the contact, and Chuku Wachuku, an entrepreneur, wealth creator, advocate of family economic empowerment programme is the man who understands the idiosyncrasies of the people of Abia Central and has the wherewithal to change their narratives if allowed to steer the saddle.
In his interactions with newsmen, close friends, associates, he has always advocated the need to transfer power to the next generation of leaders, which at a glance, presents him as one who believes that enormous potentials abound in the youth. The question remains….. why has it taken Ndi Abia Central time to acknowledge that the emergence of Sir Chuku Wachuku will herald access to over N250b agric loan and N220b small and medium scale loan from CBN? Of course it is only an entrepreneur, economist like Sir Wachuku that can let the masses into an irresistible walk-over like this which has eroded them for years due to failure of previous representatives to acquaint them with such privilege.
At this point, the people of Abia Central Senatorial District will be asking for too much if they fail to unanimously adopt a consultant economist, former Director-General, National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Former Pro-Chancellor, Abia State University, Uturu, Former Chairman of Council, Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, Former National President, Nigeria Association of Small Scaled Industrialists (NASSI), National President, Agriculture and Industrial Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (AIEN).
Indeed, the people of Abia Central should juxtapose experience, maturity and interest to serve side by side with their priorities and be able to boldly decide what they want as a people.
Definitely, Sir Chuku Wachuku presents himself as the best candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District as he has bagged various awards in the past including: National Productivity Merit Award, National Merit Award for Excellence, National Merit Award for Excellence, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, among others.
Enough of the deceit, Abia Central needs to advance from Keke Napep empowerment to something tangible, families must advance beyond mere stomach infrastructure, the cliche that money must be shared by representatives to constituents must stop.
The time for Ndi Abia Central Senatorial District to make that life changing decision is now.
*Sir Chuku Wachuku is indeed the answer*
