Dr Kasarachi Enyinna has announced his intention to join the Abia Governorship race under the All Progressives Congress, APC, promising to bring on board, purposeful, credible, responsive and people oriented leadership that will meet the yearnings and aspirations of Abians.
Making his intention public over the weekend in Ukwa West LGA of Abia State, Dr. Enyinna said Abians have been deprived of dividends of democracy by various administrations in the state, resulting from poor and weak leadership, adding that it is not late to change the narratives of Abia through well articulated policies and programmes piloted by one who understands the problems of the State.
He said his intention is borne out of pressure and widespread consultations from his constituents and Abians in general, stressing that he has decided to heed the call to contest for the position of Governor of Abia state.
Dr. Enyinna noted that his years of service in various capacities in private and public sectors beyond the shores of Nigeria, have presented him with robust experience to steer the affairs of God’s own state, if given the opportunity, revealing that he has sustained his contributions to women and youth empowerment across the state through various humanitarian initiatives, including the Micheal Eyinnaya Kasarachi Foundation, which has sponsored sporting activities and provided free medical outreach to indigents across the state.
He stated that he has been in close contact with the people at the grassroots and do understand their pains, emphasizing that without proper understanding of the problems in the hinterlands and Abia in general, one cannot proffer solutions.
Dr. Enyinna maintained that he understands the challenges faced by Abians, pledging that he is well equipped with the right skills to improve the common lots of the people, assuring that he will build a prosperous state and an Abia that is everyone’s dream.
