The Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji on Monday attended the wedding reception/Traditional marriage ceremony of Mr & Mrs Emeka Ihemadu.
Speaking at the occasion held at Umuonyia Ohiya Primary School Field, Umuahia South LGA, the Speaker advised the couple to build their new home on the foundation of mutual trust, respect and humility.
He said marriage is a beautiful and revered institution when the two people involved understand the principles of living together; and do not involve third parties their affairs.
The Speaker charged them to reconcile their differences privately and always be ready to forgive each other.
The Speaker prayed for the couple and wished them a fruitful and blissful marriage.
The marriage was earlier solemnised at
St. Silas Methodist Church, Umuihie Umuokpara Circuit, Umuahia West Diocese.
Member representing Umuahia South State Constituency, Hon Jerry Uzosike, Traditional Prime Minister of Ibeku Ancient Kingdom, High Chief James Akwukwegbu (Bawas) and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
