Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has described Chief Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr as a dedicated and experienced politician with whom he shares a long term relationship with.
Governor Ikpeazu stated this on Sunday at his country home, in Umuobiakwa, Obingwa LGA of Abia State, when stakeholders from Uhie visited him to present Erondu Jnr as their candidate for the seat if Obingwa West State Constituency considering his track record.

Speaking during the occasion, the Governor, said he has always harped on the need for those who has been imparted by his administration to impart others, so as to have a feel of dividends of democracy, adding that since the people of Uhie have decidex to elect him as their representative on the floor of the Abia State House of Assembly, he will surely perform creditably.
The Governor commended Erondu Jnr for building houses among other philanthropic gestures for the less privileged, stressing that as he has built houses for people, attention will also be shifted to other areas that needs attention, urging him to continue with his philanthropy.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and a former Chairman of Obingwa LGA, Chief Chidiebere Ihenyirimadu popularly known as (Jato) informed the Governor that the leaders and entire people of Uhie have adopted the candidature of Chief Erondu as their consensus candidate for the election going by his record.
Speaking further, Jato told the Governor that Erondu has built and donated a total of 32 houses for different persons across the 6 political wards of Obingwa West, a feat which they had never seen before.

Correspondent reports that stakeholders from Uhie, Obingwa were present during the presentation.
