One of the front runners for the Abia Governorship seat under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Ncheta Elvis Omerekpe has restated his committment to purse his Governorship ambition to it’s logical conclusion without fear, as he is very sure to pick up the PDP Governorship ticket in the May 21, 2022 primary election.
Speaking to journalists in Umuahia, Chief Omerekpe, popularly called ODOZI OBODO, enjoined his numerous supporters across Abia to jettison the news making the rounds that he has stepped down for someone, maintaining that such thoughts has not and will not cross his mind.
He reaffirmed his readiness in the race, which he described as an answer to the divine call of God, to serve Ndi Abia.
Chief Ncheta Omerekpe said, he is in the race to reposition the state, to be counted amongst the comity of states in Nigeria, to create job opportunities for our teeming youths and make life more comfortable for Abians across ages, believing that in the first four years after his tenure, Abians will know a great leader and a man with the milk of human kindness has passed through the top leadership position of our beloved state and would certainly leave footprints in the sand of time.
