A pressure group known as Abia Trust is calling on well-meaning Abians to join hands in entrenching better leadership at all levels in Abia State.
The call is coming on the heels that electoral processes have kick-started in Nigeria, and the need to select quality leaders at different levels in Abia State has become imperative.
In a press release signed by the State Coordinator and the Secretary of the group, Afam Josiah and Chukwuemeka Okorie, they called on volunteers and those who desire better leadership in the State to identify with Abia Trust to achieve its goal, which is bringing together various individuals who are not political office holders but are impacting lives and contributing to the economic development of Abia and the residents alike to power.
Josiah, thanked the founder, Chima Anyaso Foundation, Dr. Chimaobi Anyaso, and the Executive Chairman of Obingwa LGA, Chief Michael Nwoke, for their appreciation of the group’s motive and clamor which will lead the organization in actualizing its vision in Abia State.
The group promised to task themselves to buy form, if need be, for Dr. Anyaso and Chief Nwoke should they decide to vie for any position of their choice for the 2023 general elections.
