The new Abia state Chairman of All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Dr, Kingsley C. Ononogbu has warned that it is criminal to belong to two political parties at the same time, or to even remotely work for two political parties, by those who claim to be APC during the day, but work for PDP or other parties at night because the new APC under his watch will not tolerate it.

He disclosed this at APC national headquarters, Abuja shortly after he was sworn in and issued a certificate of return as the new APC Chairman in Abia.
Ononogbu explained that people with such characters will not be tolerated and that as far as he remains the party Chairman, such attitude must stop.
He urged Abia elites, who are still sitting on the fence to come on board and join hands to liberate, rescue and reposition Abia State, adding that the state can only be transformed if a critical mass of competent Abians takes charge of governance.
He assured that he will not relent nor disappoint Abians in his role as APC Chairman in Abia State, urging all to hold steadfast to APC principles, “as our destination is in sight.”
He reiterated that his responsibility as Chairman is collective and urged all to walk the talk and show enough commitment to achieving the collectively desired goals.
Ononogbu also urged estranged party members, “to return to the Abia APC family and make their individual and collective positive contributions to ensure the party’s electoral successes in 2023 which is the bigger picture, because the door remains wide open for all such members to return.
