Road users along Aba/Owerri Road axis of Star Paper Mill, Aba, on Sunday afternoon scampered for safety following a road accident involving a 911 trailer, a longer trailer and an Audi car.
An eyewitness who spoke to newsbuka.com, said the cause of the accident was due to break failure of the 911 trailer.
He said while the 911 trailer was advancing towards the Star Paper Mill axis, the driver of the trailer, rammed into a longer trailer, which forced it to collide with the small Audi car whose owner was looking for a way to navigate through the traffic congestion in the area.
The eyewitness who pleaded anonymity, said the good news is that the accident did not claim the life of anyone, but caused heavy damage of the three vehicles involved.
He also stated that the incident caused inhabitants of the area, drivers and other road users to scamper for safety just as he called on Abia State Government to expedite work in that Star Paper Mill axis to stop traffic congestion in the area.
