Grand Reception: Abia Speaker Describes Deputy Governor as a Man of Great Loyalty

Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Orji on Saturday attended the Grand Reception organised by the Ohafia Traditional Rulers Council in honour of one of their sons, Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu, the Deputy Governor of Abia State.

Speaking at the event, the Speaker said he came to celebrate with the Deputy Governor because of his uncommon virtues, unprecedented loyalty and dedication to service of the State over the years.

The Speaker said Right Hon. Oko Chukwu, has distinguished himself as a very reliable politician, one who is straightforward, adding that his humility is a very rare attribute to possess in politics today.

He stated that his enviable political track record has obviously marked Oko Chukwu out as a trusted, honest and dedicated personality, revealing that he is very proud of his towering political profile and service to humanity.

Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji urged the people of Ohafia to rally round their son and support him in all his political aspirations, and advised them to shun the “pull him down” syndrome.

Contributing, Chief Theodore Ahamefule Orji CON, Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District who also attended the event in company of his wife, Lady Odochi Mercy Orji, congratulated and described the celebrant as one whose leadership skills are top notch and worthy of emulation.

Senator Orji, thanked the Deputy Governor for promoting harmony in the legislative arm of government when he held sway as the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly. He prayed God to reward him abundantly in his future endeavours.
