Ex President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has said as an introvert, he should not have been deeply involved in partisan politics.
Jonathan who spoke at the gala night to round off the three-day programme of the Unique University of Port Harcourt Class ‘81 Reunion, which ended on Saturday in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, said he was trying to figure out if he joined politics accidentally.
The former President, a member of the Class 81 and host of the reunion, added that politics involved a lot of conversations and other activities, which a conservative person might not be easily disposed to doing.
Correspondent reports that at the event, Jonathan and a former Group Executive Director, Finance and Accounts, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Stanley Lawson, were given awards of honour by the Class ‘81.
