Fuel Subsidy: PFN Reminds FG What Will Happen if Removed

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria has reminded the Federal Government that removing fuel subsidy will worsen the suffering of majority of Nigerians who are already impoverished.

The President of PFN, Bishop Wale Oke, urged the government to discard the proposed policy in order not to worsen people’s hardship and trigger crisis in the country.

Oke made the call in a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, on Sunday.

He stated that the implementation of the policy would lead to hike in the price of fuel and that would have a ripple effect on prices of goods and services.
