The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria has said it is in support of the Federal Government’s decision to remove subsidy by 2022.
IPMAN’s President, Mr Chinedu Okoronkwo, in a chat with newsmen on Friday in Lagos, said the Petroleum Industry Act signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari on August 16 had no provision for subsidy.
He enjoined the FG to reinvest savings from the subsidy into other areas including healthcare, education, and agriculture.
