Spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Chief Imo Ikenga Ugochinyere, has called on the federal government to unconditionally release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Ugochinyere who made the call during Wednesday’s resumption of trial of the IPOB leader, described what is playing out in the court as a travesty.
He said the public can no longer have implicit confidence in the trial so long as the media and Kanu’s supporters are shut out of the proceedings.
