Newsbuka.com has learnt that the trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has been adjourned till January 19, 2022.
It was gathered that this was after he appeared before Justice Binta Nyako at a Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday.
Newsbuka.com learnt also that his team of Lawyers had earlier staged a walkout before the presiding Judge, Justice Binta Nyako following the refusal of operatives of DSS to allow his foreign legal team access to the courtroom.
The legal team, led by Ifeanyi Ejiofor, had chosen to stay out of court in protest against the refusal of security operatives to permit a foreign lawyer into the courtroom.
Meanwhile, Justice Binta Nyako adjourned the matter when it became clear that the lawyers would not come back.
