Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, has lauded the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, for calling off the sit-at-home earlier scheduled to take effect from Friday (today), November 5 to November 10, 2021.
A statement signed by the President-General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, noted that the development was in the best interest of the entire Igboland just as he hailed IPOB for heeding the voice of reason.
Recall that IPOB had in a statement on Thursday by its spokesman, Comrade Emma Powerful, announced that the one-week sit-at-home was cancelled following interventions from eminent religious and traditional leaders from the South-East.
