Al-Sadd of Qatar have announced that Xavi will be leaving the club to join Spanish giants Barcelona as their new manager.
Former Barcelona star Xavi will take over as the club’s manager with Al Sadd saying they have agreed to allow him to join the Spanish giants.
Xavi, who played 779 games and won 25 titles with Barca, had publicly said he hoped to go home as Barca boss.
Al-Sadd of Qatar hinted on Friday that Barca have paid the release clause in Xavi’s contract.
