Newsbuka.com has learnt that the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Abok Ayuba, has been impeached.
Meanwhile, Right Hon. Yakubu Sanda representing Pengana Constituency in the State Assembly has been elected Speaker by members.
It was gathered that Abok was impeached on Thursday morning sequel to a vote of no confidence by some lawmakers of the Assembly.
