‘Deadly Attack in Kampala Appeared to be an Act of Terrorism’ -President Museveni

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, on Sunday said a deadly blast late Saturday in Kampala appeared to be an act of terrorism.

President Museveni, hinted that the explosion in the capital killed one person, although the Uganda Police chief political commissar Asan Kasingye said late on Saturday that two people were killed.

State Media reported that at least seven people were injured.

No group has claimed responsibility of the attack.
