Reports say sixteen people were killed on Friday in an explosion and fire at a gunpowder and chemicals plant in Russia’s western Ryazan province.
The Emergencies Ministry in the country confirmed 12 deaths in the accident, revealing that four people remained missing.
An online news source, said the accident was caused by a failure to observe the proper technical process at the facility.
