Declaration of IPOB as Terrorist Organization Unfair, Initiate Talks with Group, Nwodo to FG

The President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government has been advised to initiate talks with the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB).

Former President-General of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nwodo, who was the guest speaker at the 14th edition of the annual Anthony Cardinal Okogie Foundation held in Lagos on Thursday, gave the advice.

He said the declaration of IPOB as a terrorist organisation by the Federal Government was unfair, adding that the only hope for Nigeria was the call for restructuring pioneered by the Southern and Middle Belt Forum Leadership.
