Yet-to-be identified gunmen Tuesday evening, opened fire on traditional rulers holding a meeting in Imo State, killing two of them in the process.
It was gathered that among the monarchs confirmed dead were the Obi 1 of Okwudor Autonomous Community, Eze Anayochukwu Durueburuo and Eze Sampson Osunwa of Ihebineowerre Autonomous Community.
It was further learnt that the Traditional rulers were holding a stakeholders’ meeting at the Njaba Local Council headquarters at Nnenasam when the sordid incident occurred.
