Ahead of their Champions league clash on Wednesday with Swedish side Malmo, Chelsea have been handed a huge fitness boost with Antonio Rudiger having returned to training following his back injury.
Rudiger sustained the injury while on international duty with Germany last week. The reliable centre-back missed the trip to Brentford on Saturday.
That gave Rudiger time to finish his recovery at Cobham on Wednesday as he was part of the first-team group that trained ahead of the Champions League group stage tie with Malmo.
Since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel in January, Rudiger has established himself as one of the finest centre-backs in European football.
